Fundraising
Whew...it's been a crazy couple of months. I am recommitting to Team in Training tomorrow. I'm really nervous, as I am just about halfway done with raising the money. I am thinking of having a big event soon, so keep your eyes peeled! In running news, my toenail is about to fall off. It's super cute, I assure you. It comes with the territory, I guess. More updates on that later. I'm insanely hungry all the time now...and whoever said running is a good way to lose weight is full of crap. There, I said it. They're lying! :) My whole team (including myself) has gained weight. Oh well, it's for a good cause. We'll just say that we're gaining muscle.

Hi Sarah! I was just thinking about you. I hear it is quite normal to gain weight while you're training for an event. I am actually reading "The Runner's Diet" right now. I haven't learned the magic formula, but if I do I'll let you know! Are you still going to WW meetings?
Hi Nadine! Yes, still going to meetings, just not every week. I had to pay for one meeting because I was .8 out of range, but the next week I was .2 out of range so I went to the bathroom and took off my second sports bra, socks, etc. and ended up down .4 from that! :) I'm going to look for that Runner's Diet book. Thanks!
